Who's number
Received the same text at 7:19 pm Eastern I did not respond
Was pretending to be my bank. They have never texted me before...
I was notified someone with this number tried to get approved for a credit card in my name.
I had the exact same situation. They called and left a voicemail saying they were with L&B Mediation threatening with legal action if I didn\'t call back. I called back and they said that I was being sued for a loan I took out in February of 2011. They had the last four numbers of my checking account and my home address, etc so I listened. I asked who the loan was through and for more information but they said they couldn\'t tell me anymore because it was in \"sealed evidence\". When I asked what a settlement offer would be, they put me on hold and when they came back they said it would be over $1,000. I asked them how something could get this far without my knowledge and without any certified mail. They then said that I had received certified mail for which I signed back in June 2014. When I requested a copy of this signature they again said that it was \"sealed evidence\". I requested more information and to speak to a supervisor to which I received a struggle from the other side before reluctantly being transferred to the super. After a lot of conversation, she told me that she would send me a validation letter from the notification department the next business day. Never happened. The day after that, I received another call with a similar message from the day before. When I asked where my email was, they told me they\'d call me back and I haven\'t heard from them since. Now when I call it goes to voicemail or hold music. Oh, and the acct with which they said I took out the loan didn\'t exist at that time. When I asked about that, they said that the loan could have been back dated. Um, what? No. I\'m grateful for the other posts on this page. I hope they aren\'t successful with scamming anyone.
Who is this?
Not sure just missed call from here.
what is the name of this phone owner
Got a message on my work line at 6pm (obviously calling after hours) saying a complaint was being filed against 'you'. No 'this call is for _______ or we are trying to reach _______'. Go phish somewhere else...
Yes no idea who it is
Got a call from this number asking for my attorney name saying a claim was being filed for bank fraud and when I asked what bank they hung up
Blah blah blah
Just got a text that said "([WF-Bank]) ImportantMessage.Call:(678)254-0793" I didnt call back. I deleted it! Scammers I'm sure!
Me too. I received this call at 8:19pm Eastern. Suspect fraud right off the bat. Notice the originating number will be part of your cell phones number. I just had my credit card used for a bunch of charges that I didn't make, best yet I was out of state when it happened. Probably the same crooks that stole my numbers. I'll add it to the police report just in case. BTW envision-ink.com is a printing business so there is no way Well's Fargo is going to be using their domain for their text. Kind of the dead give away it was bogus plus this is not the method I set up to be contacted.
They said they were a mediation company and that I was being sued for not paying money back. For check fraud, loan fraud, all kinds of stuff. I never made a loan. They had my address as an address I had eight years prior. I smell a phish
Stole my phone
Just hung up immediately after I said "hello?".
